The Rev. Anne R. Kirchmier has served as rector of the Fork Church since November 1, 2005. A 2001 graduate of Seabury-Western Theological Seminary, she served parishes in Alexandria, VA and Winchester, VA before coming to the Fork Church. Prior to her seminary studies she taught school in western Massachusetts.

As a priest, Anne especially enjoys pastoral care, preaching, and mission. She cares deeply about developing and nurturing strong relationships within and beyond the local congregation. Actively involved in local outreach efforts, she has also led two mission trips to the Dominican Republic. She served for several years on the Diocesan Commission on World Missions and currently sits on the Executive Board of the Diocese of Virginia.

In her spare time, Anne enjoys reading, hiking, swimming, traveling, and being with friends. She shares her home with two very spoiled cats, Tunney and Punky.
